I don't know if it's any good, but you can watch Christopher 'Dr Who' Eccleston in the BBC biopic Lennon Naked AND a special 30 minute Lennon: Top Of The Pops compilation, but only in the UK and only until 30th July.
The Guardian called it "a brilliant performance, in a brilliant film"
Did you see it? Your verdict?
Now I've watched 'em both!
ReplyDeleteTop Of The Pops - Had a sneaking suspicion that Lennon's post Beatles output was very poor, and this confirmed it. What I didn't realise was how poorly sung and recorded it was though.
Lennon Naked - well made, well acted - worth watching if you get the chance. The angle is on Lennon as a son and a father.
There is nudity, bad language and the inevitable depression you get when you see how poorly Lennon treated people around him. You have been warned!
